Eat Fruit and Vegetables Everyday
Along with physical activity and maintaining a healthy weight, scientific studies have shown that eating a lot of fruit and vegetables promotes good health and lowers the risk of getting heart disease, hypertension, stroke, diabetes, and some cancers. Health authorities recommend eating at least five portions of fruit and vegetables every day - and it doesn’t matter whether they’re fresh, tinned, frozen, cooked, juiced or dried.
